St. Edward, the Confessor

by EDWARD
(Ghana)

St. Edward was a British King who dedicated himself to use all his riches to help the poor within his country. How caring he was. Indeed he was a great man. How many times do we see Kings and Queens humbling themselves to be among the less fortunate ones in the society?

St. Edward teaches us a great lesson. The essence of the Saintly life of St. Edward lies in the fact that, He didn't consider himself superior to others but was so humble even to reach out to the poor in the society. He never allowed money or wealth to control his life but he gave his all and all he had to serve the people who needed it and to serve the Lord.
